Description: Depression Era, "Crackle", Covered Candy Jar, Clear, Orange Trim, 8 3/8" T with lid, 5 5/8" T without lid, top 4" D. Produced ca 1924-30's. No signature or label. Made by many different manufacturers. Our reference for this is Gene Florence "Depression Glass" 19th edition, page 48. Condition - excellent (see 2 below) - no chips, cracks, or cloudiness. 1.) Mint- Like New or New; 2.) Excellent- Used but near new with very minor wear, if any (small scratches or abrasions which are not very noticeable) 3.) Very Good- Used shows wear (scratches and/or abrasions) consistent with age of item; 4.) Fair - Shows considerable wear (many scratches or abrasions) and/or chips and/or cloudiness; 5.) Poor- Considerable wear and/or minor to severe damage
