A beautiful 2 piece salad serving set adorned with a pattern of grape, leaf, and flower motifs. The pattern is known as COH30 Pierced Leaves and Berries. As best we know, the pattern is from somewhere between 1949-1976. Marked with “Cohr”, designed by Carl M. Cohr, manufactured in Fredericia This set would be a lovely addition to any sterling collection. Carl M. Cohr (1860-1925) was a Danish silversmith who took over the workshop of his father Ditlef (1829-1883) when he died. Carl M. Cohr's factory in Fredericia, Denmark created some of the finest silverware in Denmark. From the beginning of the 20th century, Cohr was a competitor of Georg Jensen Co., drawing top design talent and building the largest silverware factory of its time. * International recognition came after the world exhibition in Brussels 1935 and Paris 1937. During the 1950s, great success and recognition was brought on company’s name. Einar Cohr (Carl M.
