It has 6x SFF-8087 ports and 3x SFF-8088 ports that connect to a compatible SAS controller (HBA or RAID). This is an awesome JBOD SAS expander board for building your own JBOD disk enclosure. See the video on my YouTube channel for a demonstration of how this board can be setup. Included with this SAS expander board is a custom power adapter cable that you will need to use to power on this expander board. The 2x2 pin connector goes into the board, and the 4-pin molex needs to be connected to your power supply (PSU).I have fully tested these units in my server with an LSI external HBA SAS controller running ZFS on Linux.
