Description: This listing is for a rare factory sealed (see condition notes) copy of the Deliverance - "Give It A Try" LP. Deliverance was a Canadian Christian pop music band that was active in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Danny Janz, Ken Janz, and Paul Janz formed Deliverance in Lorrach, Germany though the three were from Alberta, Canada. All three were raised in Basel, Switzerland and attended Black Forest Academy. Danny and Paul Janz had already performed together as "Danny and Paul" but joined with Ken in 1974 to form Deleverance - combining the "Janz Team Singers" with "Danny, Paul & Wayne" and created a dynamic new band. Guy Roellinger and Dave McSparran also joined the band during its history. The band released four albums before Paul Janz embarked on a solo career. This 1976 album is on NEWPAX Records. Record # NP-33030 Condition notes: There are some minor creases in the bottom right corner of the cover, the shrink wrap is torn at the bottom center, there is some slight color fading along the top edge of the cover, but this very rare, classic, vintage LP remains factory sealed!
