I sold a whole bunch of DEE DEE paintings back to Barbara and the Dee Dee Ramone estate. (Another shout out to Barbara if she sees this.) I am sure Barbara could verify this bass too. It was great meeting and hanging with her and her friend on the Motorboat cruise. You know I had to explain to my wife about coming home with Barbara's name tattooed on my arm after the Motorboat cruise!! Anyway it was pre certified by Roger Epperson (REAL) when it was up for auction at RR Auction (it did not make reserve) and that is the auction page RR gave it .Anyway Dee Dee owned and signed guitars were never easy to find, now almost never do you see them. I hope the guy with the Schecter bass is still enjoying it. This vintage classic Fender Mustang bass is very valuable, even not being signed and owned by Dee Dee. ( Look it up) It is way beyond being considered unique . There are fewer and fewer DEE DEE RAMONE signed guitars out there, they are great investments and are only going up in value. Really this piece should be in the Rock N Roll hall of fame, but it would probably look pretty darn good on your wall too.
