Description: This auction is for the "Chicago and Northwestern Railway" sign, used in "Deadwood" the movie (2019), that was temporarily affixed to the steam train tender to cover the actual painted markings on the tender. This made for accurate markings for a train running to Deadwood, South Dakota. This was filmed at Melody Ranch Studios in Newhall, CA. I worked on this show as a props assistant and armorer/gun trainer. I kept this from being tossed after the show. It had some weather on it before I was able to get it, and the vinyl sticker has peeled and been re glued down. It was not meant to last and it is not in the best of shape but it could be framed and presented well. There are some holes in the corners where I had it screwed to my wall for display. It still has the tape on the back where it was stuck to the tender. it has been in my personal collection of cool stuff from shows I've worked on. The recent double strikes that have killed the industry for half a year have forced me to sell things to help pay the bills and feed the kids. You can look me up on IMDB.com, Joey Rocketshoes Dillon to see my film resume, including this film. This will come with one prop train ticket that we had some of the back ground people holding as well. The sign measures 9 feet 8 inches long, and 7 inches tall. The two pieces individually measure 57.5 and 58.5 inches long. Thanks for looking!
