Hand-blown from clear glass and delicately hand-painted, this antique American glass pitcher brings a blue sky and thoughts of late-July blackberries to any table! Each leaf is painted with exacting detail consistent with Impressionist art, and the manic tendrils and raised blackberry clusters give this piece a full and vibrant air! The piece is finished with bronzed gold gilt along the edge and bottom and an applied glass handle.This antique piece was likely made in the early 1900s by Dugan Glass Co. of Pennsylvania. It is hand-blown and features a thick pontil scar at the bottom. The piece matches the mold in an old Dugan catalogue for lemonade pitchers Condition:This piece is in NEAR MINT condition! The piece shows only light signs of use and wear and is free from damage and repair! Some of the gilt edging along the ruffled lip has worn off, but this is not outwardly obvious.
