Description: A lenticular (holographic) black and white photo print of David Bowie, taken in 2020 by photographer Gavin Evans, and distributed by Lumas, a company specializing signed and limited edition art prints. Evans, who is British, has exhibited his photographs in renowned museums including MoMA in NY and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. This photo is from the Lazarus series is titled, "Lazarus LV". It is lenticular, so you see three different shots of Bowie depending where you stand, and as you move, one images comes out of focus while another comes into view.This is achieved by a series of tiny vertical lenses to create the holographic effect of Bowie- the central shot is a full-face portrait, and the 2 others on the sides are Bowie shoutin with his hand to his mouth on the left, and Bowie with a finger to his mouth as if to say "quiet". It's a great tribute to the iconic David Bowie and a spectacular photo. I'm only selling it because I have no where in my home to hang it! The print is produced by Lumas in Berlin. It has a certificate of authenticity signed by the executive curator and the photo lab director at Lumas on the back dated 2023 and is print number K17. It's framed in aluminum arthouse black and is ready to be hung and it comes in the original Lumas box.The measurements are 13.4" x 13.4" (which includes the frame).
