DAS Northern Lights Marble Collector Series: Radioactive Superman Lutz

I normally sell the more vintage JABO marbles, but every so often I come across a DAS marble that I think will become a nice collectable...and this is one of those. This particular DAS Northern Lights marble has the distinct characteristic to have the Superman colors. These colors are technically called Medium Persian Blue (#0060AA), Canary Yellow (#FFED10), and Cadmium Red (#E20025). This classic Superman family will always be a mainstay for collectable marbles. This desirable namesake of the man of steel should be in every serious collectors keeper vault. This one would fit nicely into any collection. Grab it while you can. These classic Superman colors are reflected with the beautiful pigments of the high quality glass used in this marble production run. The white wispy internal swirls give an airy feeling to the marble, sometimes these marbles can be called "ghost" style. This ghost term might of been something only our small group of marble buddies used...not official. Additionally, don't forget this marble is UV reactive when exposed to a black light. See last few pics with that huge amount of green internal swirl. FYI...fluorescence is the emission of light by a substance that has absorbed light or other electromagnetic radiation. It is a form of luminescence. In most cases, the emitted light has a longer wavelength, and therefore a lower photon energy, than the absorbed radiation...in case you are curious... :-) Oh yeah, don't forget about the chunky gold lutz on this little gem, either...it is spectacular. The coverage is almost 100%, so this is a generous amount of lutz for sure. I try my best to take high resolution pictures to show exactly what you are getting as well as to rotate the marble to give multiple views. I use a Canon Rebel DSLR with flash to reveal as much detail as possible for a clear picture. This marble was manufactured using the 3/4" machine and the size of this particular marble is 0.722". Note: There are two types of gold lutz: the smooth dusting type and the chunky type...this is the chunky type.
