DAS Hawkeye Marble Collector Series: Wild .999 Pure Silver Frit

Well, let's explain...LOL. This Hawkeye marble run by Dave when he was running DAS had some very peculiar experimental concepts running during this production run. It was part of Dave's genius to try new and different ideas. You may have heard about another run called "Lawnchair" where someone supposedly tossed in part of an aluminum lawn chair to melt aluminum plus glass together. Some spectacular marbles ensued (including the famous Woodstock marble). In a similar fashion, this Hawkeye run had some normal gold lutz material added (as can be seen on particular marble). This gold lutz is the chunky type that we typically see in many JABO and DAS marbles. These chunks can be easily seen. PLUS, in addition, some pure .999 silver ingot was added to the molten glass kiln brew. You can also see these pieces of that pure silver in these pictures. If you're not sure what to look for, these silver specks almost look like little hit marks with silver color instead of gold. Of course, there are no hit marks on this marble...it has perfect surface quality. So, you mix this incredibly wild design concept with some really beautiful oxblood and you get a VERY unusual marble that will be unlike most others in your collection. I would say having at least one silver frit marble is a great idea. Oh yeah, this one sparkles, pops and sizzles like very few...just imagine it with a bright light on it...WOW. I try to rotate the marble to give multiple views to show all possible angles. I use a Canon Rebel DSLR with built-in flash to produce as much small detail as van be shown in a photograph. This marble was manufactured using the 3/4" machine and the size of this particular marble is 0.703" in diameter measured with electronic calipers.
