DAS Harvest Moon Marble: Orange Racer

Also, the coverage of the marbles in the run is typically 90-100%, meaning there is something happening on every side of the marble...no "dead spots" with just base glass showing. This special marble has lots of sparkling to it, but I don't think the sparkle is actually from gold lutz. The orange swirls have lots of sparkle, but the cream colored glass seems not to sparkle. This leads me to believe that the orange glass has some special properties to give this effect. Perhaps the orange glass is loaded with tiny bits of aventurine or mica. In any case, this classic colors combination of orange and cream colors reminds me immediately of the orange popsicles we would eat as kids from the ice cream truck. I think we called them "50-50's" or something similar. It brings back good memories of hot summers and chasing the ice cream truck with bare feet...Addendum: I just found the real name for this marble family: "Orange Racer". I try my best to take high resolution pictures with flash to show exactly what you are getting. I try to rotate the marble to give multiple views. I use a Canon Rebel DSLR camera with flash to shown as much of the fine details as possible. This marble was manufactured using the 3/4" machine and the size of this particular marble is 0.681" in diameter as measured by electronic calipers.
