In 1994, Daniel recorded an album under Amoruso and his Independent Label, NFE/FLY Records. The first single "You Win Again" held at #1 for eight weeks on the CMC National Top Independent Artists Chart, climbed to #2 on the Cashbox Top 100 Country Singles Chart, and was #34 on the CMC National Music Chart. Daniel Ray was featured in many nationally distributed magazines, including Performance, Country Weekly and Cashbox. His first single "You Win Again" was heard nation wide over country music radio.
