This auction features the 1957 Chevy Bel Air 2 Door Convertible produced by Danbury Mint Collectibles. This is the Harbor Blue/two-tone blue interior version. This 1:24 scale Diecast comes in beautiful condition (there is no damage, has been in a secure, locked showcase). Car comes in the original Box (shown above). There is no Title/paperwork . For 1957, the original small block Chevy V8 was enlarged to 283 cu, with several optional power packages available, pushing it up to 283 hp. The Super Turbo-Fire 283, a $550 option in '57, produced the advertised 283 horsepower with the help of Ramjet continuous-flow fuel injection. On the outside the Bel Air was distinguished with more chrome and featured a golden grille set off with a heavy chrome bar that included parking lights. This gorgeous diecast is over 8" long, in beautiful, undamaged condition, and has tons of striking detail. It has hinged opening doors and hood, an opening trunk, along with a wired and plumbed Chevy 283 Fuel Injected V8 engine and very detailed interior and great looking chassis. It is free rolling on classic whitewall tires. Car displays well and is long out of production. A great addition to any Chevy/GM diecast collection.
