It is an early unpublished Hulk page by Keown, before his later classic run on The Incredible Hulk which brought him to fame as a comic artist. It is mostly pencil work, and features a huge full-figure Hulk panel which takes up basically all of the bottom half of the page! It is done on thin paper stock which has some creasing, including a crease line through the big Hulk panel, but still displays well, and measures approximately 11 5/8" by 17 1/8". An awesome pre-Marvel Comics Hulk piece, by an artist who would go on to have one of the most memorable runs in the character's history, and become one of the great artists of the Modern Age. Keown is an incredible artist, a legend who is best-known for one of the greatest runs in the history of The Incredible Hulk together with Peter David at Marvel Comics, and then as a creator of Pitt at Image Comics.
