Description: This model of the D-558-1 Skystreak Douglas Jet Rocket Airplane is a great addition to any aviation or military aircraft collection. Crafted from high-quality wood, this desk and shelf model is a faithful representation of the classic aircraft and is sure to impress enthusiasts and collectors alike. There is a paint crack from the aging wood, by the wing, see pic. The mount has a slight bend. The plane is 18" long and has a 12" wingspan. I am unsure about the scale. We have several different hand carved/painted Desk Aircraft Models. They all came from an estate sale by an aviation and NASCAR collector.
