Description: Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE The Order of the Red Banner of Labor was instituted on May 4, 1955 and awarded for exceptional merit in economic, scientific and cultural development. It has the shape of a gear wheel diameter of about 40 mm and overall is about 67mm high. Obverse shows linden branches with a red enamel flag flying atop. The background is a bunch of wheat stalks on which a red enamel five-pointed star is placed. On the reverse, the gear wheel is decorated with linden branches with a small national coat of arms in a shield and a five-pointed star above. The order is attached to the ribbon by a pendant of two crossed linden sprigs, suspended in the upper point of the star. The reverse of the suspension has a silver hallmark (goat head "3"), ‘900’ mark (90%silver purity), maker’s mark for Žukov of Prague, and number ‘2401’. The ribbon is 38 mm wide. It is light blue with a dark blue 3 mm wide stripe in the middle and red strips 3 mm wide on both sides. From my personal collection. You will receive items in photos.
