Description: I first met Cindy while working the door at a club in Toledo Ohio back in 1968. The discotheque fad was in full swing and the Carrousel Club was making the change. Like most of these kinds of clubs, it had “birdcage” for dancers on each side of the bandstand. Cindy was featured as a guest dancer that evening. When she was finished with her gig, I walked her to her car. In 2008, I found Cyndi via social media and we shared, via emails, some memories of friends and places back in Toledo. The photo makes reference to those “conversations”. This photo is from the movie Beyond The Valley Of The Dolls, Directed by Russ Meyer and Written by Roger Ebert. Cindy played Casey Anderson. The inscription (referring to where we met) reads, “Jerry, It's not the Carousel Club but I'm still Rockin! Kisses,Cindy Myers” The inscription on the drum reads, "from your Toledo pal"
