Description: Please look at the pictures as they are part of the descriptionHere is a Front Bead sight and a "V" notch rear sight for a CVA rifle and pistol. The rear sight is unused but might show some marks from storage. The front sight is in good used condition. The rear sight is adjustable for windage and elevation. These were used on both Hawken rifles and Hawken pistols. Both sights are attached in a dovetail. Of course it could be used on other rifles & pistols such as a Thompson Center, Traditions, Lyman or others that have the sights mount with a dove tail. This rear sight will fit barrels that are 7/8", 15/16", & 1'' across the flats. It will not fit the 3/4" barrels. These were also used on the Frontier Hunter, the Hunter Hawken, the Hawken Deerslayer, the 36 caliber Squirrel rifle with the 7/8" barrel, the Apollo Sporter, the Stalker, the Trophy Carbine and the Tracker Carbine. Measuring with a straight edge it is:2 7/16" over all long.The base is 5/8" wide.The height of the top of the "V" notch, which you would use to align the front sight with goes from a low of 17/32" to a height of 3/4"The rear sight comes with the mounting screw and wedge. The wedge on the front sight that fits into your dove tail for mounting to your barrel varies in size from .330 to .340 wide. Not counting the dove tail, it is .400 tall and .375 wide and .784 long. The over all height including the dove tail is: .495. This is a stock picture. You might not receive the item pictured, although yours will be identical.
