Description: Classic pattern with VERY heavy and deep cut Bevel Diamond quilt, leaded glass sugar shaker or muffineer, from the Birmingham area of England, 1937 (per the sterling hallmarks: Anchor/Lion/N = Birmingham/Sterling/1938. The sterling silver cover (very minor dent) has a pierced saber or fleur de lis with a finial, and the throat sleeve is well marked. The crystal base is very smoothly ground. Approx. 2.5 square x 3 3/8 to the top of the shoulder x 5 7/8" to the top of the finial. Very good condition Only a few flea bites (more towards the base).
