Description: Unique, one-of-a-kind custom build that I assembled myself. RARE black anodized (I believe it is anodized) PHROBIS M9 blade, late production 4-line marked (the last type of markings, produced up until 1989, then Lan Cay got the M9 contract). USGI handle in deep olive drab. Cross guard, pommel, and tang are lightweight aluminum, making this much lighter than a standard M11 Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) knife. I don't have a scale to get an accurate weight measurement, however I can assure you that you will feel the difference in person. NO SCABBARD, sorry. I'm listing this as used, even though the blade has never been sharpened or even used to cut anything, because as you can see in the photos, the crossguard and pommel have scratches and nicks from being in an ammo can with other knives and tools. I have not tired to treat these scratches with aluminum black or any other product. I will let the winning bidder decide what to do about them, leave them as-is, or re-color them. Pommel is shaped to lock in to the raised flanges of the handle, as you can see, which provides a secure base. Please ask any questions you may have.
