Description: Professional custom renovation - turning a Club Car DS chassis into a show winning, head turning 1947 Chevrolet 5 window, pickup replica. Immaculately finished in Fire Red Pearl and Silver Urethane with detail work exceeding what would be expected for a "normal" shop cart conversion- this cart is one of one. There are other fiberglass conversion kits out there that make a cart look like a truck, but none are finished quite like this one. The dash and faux floor shifter were actually removed from an era correct Chevy pickup, replacing the entire original Club Car dash with the exception of the cup holders. A functioning/lockable glove box, ash tray, and cigarette lighter/ USB port add to the dash's authenticity. A chrome steering column, custom steering wheel, chrome turn signals/4-way flashers, chrome rear view and side mirrors, and chrome outside grab handles are other cabin features that add to the cart's appeal. Camel colored stitched seat and seat back and side rails are in excellent condition. They are highlighted by a unique color coordinated suede headliner with chrome studs. A lightly tinted windshield adds just a touch of the feeling that no detail was overlooked on the build. Shortened pickup bed is approximately 40" X 20" and is finished in 5" polished wood slats and chrome strips on the floor. A functional fold down "Chevrolet" tailgate is held in place by pins and plastic protected chains. Taillights and license plate holder are also era correct. Chrome dual exhaust tips look awesome but are not functional as this cart is 48 Volt electric. Chevy badging, front, side, and rear look similar to what they did on the original truck 70+ years ago. The cart is not lifted and rides on the original suspension and 4 after-market custom aluminum wheels with 215/40R12 street tread tires. No curb scuffs on the wheels. Undercarriage is clean, (but not concours) and is consistent with nominal street use wear. The cart is equipped with headlights, taillights, turn signals, 4-way flashers, brake lights, horn, and mirrors. However, it does not have seat belts, A prospective buyer should not consider this cart to be street legal ! Please check with local laws/ordinances for compliance prior to trying to use it for street legal use. This cart was originally a 36-volt set-up and has been converted to 48-volts. The cart was purchased in the condition it is today in Jan. 2024 on an Ebay listing from an established high end classic car showroom - original asking price was $25K. It was garaged by the previous owner in his showroom and has remained in my garage since delivery and not exposed to any adverse weather since purchased. I do not know the exact date of the customization or the 36 to 48Vconversion but looks fresh. I bought it with a bill of sale only and will sell it with bill of sale only as well. I have full documentation of me acquiring the cart. Previous dealer/owner stated all the work on the cart was done within the last five years. Conversion, according to the previous owner, included new batteries/cables, high speed, high torque motor, new controller, new solenoid, new resistor, and new FNR adapter. I have had no reason to doubt any of those claims but cannot absolutely confirm those statements as I am not a cart mechanic. Batteries and other electrics look fresh and function perfectly. Batteries are believed to have been installed in 2023. A new heavy duty forward/reverse switch was installed by a local Club Car dealer in October 2024. Cart runs smooth with brisk acceleration/top speed (much faster than your golf course rental). I bought it with the intention to use it to get around my gated neighborhood and to show it at local car shows. I've done both with success (see pic - Top of Class - Heroes and Hot Rods Car Show, Tulsa, 2024). I'm selling now as trailering the cart to shows has become an issue for me. The cart absolutely is a crowd favorite at shows. Cart also has a useable canvas cover, some touch-up paint, and a newly purchased ($280) "Water My Battery" brand battery watering system so that all battery cells can be serviced by hooking up just one watering tube. Purchase also includes a Club Car brand "Power Drive" battery charger. Sorry, can't help with shipping, but will assist you in coordinating with your shipping choice. The cart requires at least a 10" trailer. Approx. overall dimensions: 10' long, 5' wide at mirrors, 6' tall. Sold as-is. No Warranties. Bill of Sale only. Certified Funds, verified bank transfer, or Cash only. No Returns. This a fixed price sale - not an auction. Reasonable offers will be considered but all offers may be declined at the seller's discretion. If looking for something out of the ordinary - this, is it. Thanks for your interest.
