Description: These chain adjusters will fit all Cushman Eagle motor scooters with the cast iron engine and Vanguard conversions with the earlier Eagle frames. They are designed so adjustments can be made in small increments in either fore or aft direction accurately and positively. They are easily and readily installed with no modifications to the frame. The large rear bracket of the adjuster replaces the existing flat washer on the axle and the smaller front bracket is bolted to the existing hole in the frame. These adjusters are also ideal for Vanguard conversions as they will aid in keeping the rear axle in alignment when accelerating with the more powerful 2 cylinder engine. They are made of mild steel and powder coated in gloss black and come with stainless steel hardware. These are identical to the silver adjusters I have listed on this ebay site. They will also offer a measure of safety as they will aid in keeping the rear axle in alignment if the axle nuts were to vibrate loose. These come in a set of two, one set for each side of the axle.
