Curved Robinson Design Group VINTAGE White Ceramic Teafer Tea Pot

Description: From their 1989 Teafer Collection, the Robinson Design Group originally crafted this lovely, curved, ceramic tea pot as part of a three-piece set, including coffee mug and plate. Sadly, the fates have separated the pot from the cup and plate. However, due to its arcing nature, the tea pot can still hug your favorite mug while the extended lip on the bottom of the lid helps ensure its still snug fit on the pot. Standing at just over 3.5" from the base to the brim (and around 5.25" when lidded) and measuring 6" from the spout to the back of handle, it's easy to see how the abstract tenets of Memphis Design - also taking place in the 80's - inspired this bowed beauty as it does indeed confront the norms of a traditional tea pot. A faint crazing as well as few flea bites are to be found, along with a tiny crack on the interior brim (please see pics).
