When you use an Iphone to do a video of a TV it will shows lines and distortions that are not really showing on the TV. I am no tech person so I can not explain it. Feel free to look it up. Yet when I took the first pictures it did not do this. In my two eyeball approach to watching the TV screen when I turned it on was as if you were watching any other blank screen and the color video of the VHS Player the picture was perfect not distorted. You will note when the video started you will see the top wording on the screen showing "Auto Tracking" and video cleared up as it has auto tracking which you can see when video went in. I have volume up on TV to override background noise where I was at as well as I had contracts here when I done this. Now enough with that. This TV has great color. And while I have no antenna to hook up to as I have cable and no antenna. I feel would be ideal for older Video Game Use to TV for kids room. Plus if you have some VHS you see all that works too. Curtis Mathes commercials were "Curtis Mathes Worlds Most Expensive Televisions and Worth It"It was true as this was a lot more than cheaper versions when purchased.It was the top rated one on Consumers Report as I remember it. No damage to housing or screen that I can find. My son used this for his one Video Game System when he was younger and also played VHS Tapes. It was working fine when it was quit being used and put away and make sure to view video. When we switched TV's downstairs the larger one came for son's room with a separate and this went into storage.
