This is the December 31, 1951 one hundred Liras. The banknote has design in deep red with violet border of Italia to the left of the front. Italia is facing right in all her glory. The design is on yellow background. There is a small framed yellow unprinted area to the right of the front where the water mark resides. The back depicts a red on yellow decorative design with the denomination in a framed shield in the center. The note has the denomination on both front and back, but the serial number is only shown on the back. This note has three signatures on the front namely those of Bolaffi, Cavallaro, and Giovinco. This particular note has the serial number 085894 and the series 2294 displayed twice on the back but not on the front. The paper of the note is crisp and the colors are fresh. The note has a water mark depicting the number "100" and is located in light colored area on the right of the front. Please carefully view scan as it is part and parcel of our description. The banknote has all the details and they are very well preserved. The note has no graffiti, splits, soiling, or stains. It has one vertical light crease in the center and four small pinholes in the center near the top. Other than that the note is crisp and intact. The corners of the note have no rounding and are sharp and intact. The note has no splits and the edges are intact. Just a great piece to add to your collection.
