Timothy and Tommaso Sabatini decided to replicate the concept by painting the same print onto the leather of Cuiofficine's specialty products. Using the same Renaissance technique, craftsmen print premium leathers by hand, one by one. A fixative is applied to the printed hides, so the colour always remains perfect in case of wear, scratches, or water. The skins are then ironed according to the effect to create the different coloured marbles. Due to the nature of the technique, no two prints are ever the same.
