Description: Crystal Etched & Shaped Glass Compote Dish-Bowl is perfect, no chips, cracks, damage of any kind, no repairs, very thick & heavy molded crystal piece, used to be a "rusty top slot screw w/a round piece of leather in the middle" but we couldn't tighten as bowl was loose, slot stripped, leather fell apart once we finally got it out w/o hurting the crystal/glass bowl, or stripping the hole in the silver stand. Our silver smith said quadruple platting, he couldn't find any marks either. High Style Figural Art Nouveau Intricate Ornate Stand, very beautiful and well done. Not over the top, but classy and multi-functional even now! Very classy, well done heavy thick molded crystal w/really great etchings, engravings, mold line's etc..And the 4 footed tall silver stand is gorgeous, displays really well, very impressive with any fruits, veggies in it!! Guess you could use it for jello as well! :-) Measurements are: Crystal-Glass Bowl 12" across, 3" deep slopes to center. Silver stand is 9.5" tall, with a 4 footed base that are 6.5" across, heavy, stable & gorgeous++Rare, rare!! Total height is 13 inches. Heavy bowl, heavy stand.
