Construction of this Crye Precision JPC 2.0 plate carrier utilizes lightweight 500D and 1000D Nylon Cordura fabric that has MultiCam (MC) camouflage print throughout the roll, produced by DuPont. The benefit of using these models of nylon Cordura over other variants, is how durable the fabric makes the piece of equipment but maintains slight water resistance and lightweight. Elastic fabric is used on the interior of the JPC 2.0 to hold the pIate snugly. Sewn-on MOLLE PALS webbing is affixed throughout the front and rear platebag, to attach to any field equipment via MOLLE. Folded edges have been implemented to protect exposed edges and prevents excess fraying, extending the durability of the plate carrier. DuPont Hypalon material is used for both JPC platebags' shoulder straps, as it allows for light and tough material when worn in wet weather (rain) / cold weather / jungle terrain. Plus assists with comfort to the user, especially when shouldering. While Tan499-colored VELCRO is sewn throughout the rig to be a modular option, helping change the size of the cummerbund without needing to buy a separate size. Elastic bungees are used for the skeletal cummerbund, allowing for breathability when worn and the cummerbund itself is structured as it has a built-in Tegris material to keep its shape. MOLLE pouches can be affixed to the exterior or interior of the skeletal cummerbund incase you need to scale up or down for the mission! Plastic ITW injection molded plastic hardware buckles are used and created in a matte flat dark earth (FDE) finish to prevent any type of reflection, as well as helps blend into the MC pattern to keep the user's signature low. Unlike the JPC 1.0, the JPC 2.0 model features a pair of zipperchains on the rear platebag to host backpanel systems. The rear also can affix MOLLE pouches or be worn without any additional equipment needed! Finally, features for this plate carrier include a shoehorn fit for Large Swimmer-cut plates, but can also fit Medium or Small sized ESAPl pIates! The included MBITR pouches can stow excess equipment like a radio or medical IFAK, and can also be used for storing any commercial-sized plastic water bottle! The integrated Crye AVS attachment system allows for any style of flap to be secured. The Crye Precision JPC 2.0 does feature vertical and horizontal MOLLE attachment points, if the user needs to be overt and throw on an additional chest rig or placard system (by uninstalling the included AVS flap). However if the plate carrier is worn slick, the JPC can fit underneath a jacket for low-vis plain clothes operations! The additional 3x TYR Tactical Patented Combat Adjustable RifIe Pouch accommodates for multi-cal magazines. Weighing at 3.55oz per pouch and constructed of 500D Cordura, these pouches from TYR are perfect for extended durability and use for the field operations or law enforcement use.
