Description: This plate was made by Crown Staffordshire, in England. The pattern name is Springtime. This is a Crown Staffordshire chintz pattern. The backstamp dates the plate from circa 1906 to 1930. The bone china plate was coated in a white glaze. A beautiful chintz transferware pattern was applied. The pattern is of a bounty of beautiful spring blooms in blue, yellow, pink, purple and orange with their green leaves. Look closely and you can see purple butterflies with a hint of orange and blue in their wings! About 8.5" in diameter, would be considered a luncheon plate , but also would be so lovely as a cabinet plate, display plate or serving plate! Beautiful condition, I see no chips, crazing, cracks or wear
