Description: This auction is for the item listed and in the pictures. It is a Strasburg, Virginia food storage crock dated to the late 1800’s. It is unstamped but the style of it could possibly be attributed to Miller, Lehew or Sonner. It is a half gallon crock that stands almost 8 inches tall and is about 5 1/2 inches across the top. It is in very good condition with no cracks, major chips or repairs. I only see one tiny flea bite of a chip on the top outer edge of the rim…..first close up rim picture There is another one but it looks glazed over as a result of being done in the making…..second close up picture of the rim. It has some nice orange peel texture over probably over 1/3 of it. Any other defect or discoloration was done in the process of making it. Overall, a decent condition crock for your consideration. The item in the pictures is the item you will receive. Please look closely at the pictures as they are part of the description. Contact me with any questions or concerns before bidding or buying as I will not accept returns on this item. Payment is expected within 3 calendar days of the end of the auction. Item will be securely packaged and shipped via USPS. I will only ship to the 48 states within the U.S. Thanks for looking and good luck
