CRI also makes two springs to replace in the base of the HOTAS. One spring is engineered to be 2 times or 200% stronger than the commercial off the shelf (COTS) spring included in the HOTAS and one spring is 4 times of 400% stronger. The 2X spring is recommended for the 10 and 20 CM extensions but is an optional component and sold separately.
