Corvette 1984 RED Chevrolet Dealer Promo Model Car 1/25th Scale in Original Box

The aforementioned notwithstanding, note the photos are still the biggest and most important part of this or any description. As the old saying goes, "a picture is worth a thousand words". For your consideration is this 40 year old vintage 1984 RED CORVETTE dealer promo 1/25th plastic scale model car in the original tissue paper wrapping and the original cardboard box. The car does not have any manufacturer markings that I could see so I chose to list it as being "unbranded". But in doing my internet research I found that most of these Dealer Promo cars were made by either "AMT" or "ERTL". Dealer promotional cars are among the most valuable, most sought-after scale model cars made. These models were usually available through the parts counter at the dealerships that sold the actual cars. The cars were often molded or painted in the exact same colors available on the real cars and sometimes came in various body styles. Note, only because of the model’s age I chose to be conservative and list the car as being “used”. As is clearly evident, this model car has NEVER BEEN PLAYED WITH OR USED. As far as I can tell, I was the first to remove the model from the box in order to photograph it in preparation of this listing. I purchased this model from an estate of an owner of a Chevrolet dealership that had a collection of Corvettes and Corvette memorabilia. The Corvette is a detailed replica 1/25th scale model made out RED plastic. The model inside the box weighs approximately 6.0 ounces by itself. The overall measurements of the car are approximately 7.0” long (bumper to bumper), 2.75” wide and 2.0” high as can be confirmed in the description photos. The box measures approximately 8.25” long, 3-3/8” wide and 2-3/8” tall. Refer to description photos #22, #23 and #24 to confirm the size dimensions and for more details about what I have described. As can be verified in the description photos, the outside surface of the Corvette remains in excellent condition with absolutely no damage or blemishes. The clear plastic windows are clean and clear as seen in the photos. The RED body retains its original beautiful smooth red finish. The details in the chrome colored wheel and black tires is awesome and together really highlight the beauty of this model car. Refer to all the description photos to confirm the condition of the model car and for more details about what I have described. The under-carriage on the car also remains in pristine condition as can be confirmed in description photo #6. The front license plate reads “CORVETTE” and the rear license plate reflects the model year “1984” representing the year of the Corvette. Refer to description photos #7, #8, #9, #10 and #11 to confirm what I have described. The original box the model comes inside remains in very good condition. The outside surface is clean but does have a couple of very light stains from age and storage over the years but overall it remains to be a very clean solid original box. The box has no tears or other damage of any kind. The end-tab on one side of the box is clearly stamped with three lines that read as follows below.
