The giveaway is the circular "Made In USA" stamp on the reel's back. It's equivalent to a Martin #66, one of the best reels they ever made. This works well and is quite smooth in its operation. It does show some wear and light rust marks. The button on the one side that changes it from free wheeling to the clicking mode works well. I have two of these listed and this one is the better one.
