"Every person, drawing, painting, sculpture, song, dance, food and literary work has a story behind it, capturing a feeling, a memory or expression and sharing it with the world is where the magic lies". In 2016, he launched Artist Studio Project Publishing LLC, with the main purpose of helping new Latino and writers of color publish their works. This is Osubas third childrens book. He was inspired to write this story back in 2017 after hurricane Maria hit the island of Puerto Rico. A hurricane that affected greatly his parents, friends and his family.He is the founder and Director of the El Quixote Festival (2015), an annual seven month long statewide collaborative festival that commemorates the writer and Spanish literary giant Miguel De Cervantes Saavedra and 400 years of "Don Quixote" two books that changed his life. He lives in Raleigh, NC with his wife of over 30 years Michelle.
