Description: Antique gorgeous copper large pot pan from esteemed England based producer Leon Jaeggi Helvetia Coppersmiths London and Staines Large solid, bottom, copper, cooking part brass massive handles Made circa 1920 by Leon Jaeggi of Switzerland who moved to London. The bases are copper and the handles brass and riveted brass. This would have been a professionals’ pan. The bottom of this pan has been resealed with tin. It looks like it’s an old reseal and it is solid , holds liquid and does not leak. I have sold a few of these because they were a set from one estate….and this is the first one that does not have any worn areas in the bottom that I can see. I have included many pictures, but message if you would like more pictures or questions. Super rich warm copper color. These are rare they were used back in the day because of the large surface area to cook. The heat up fast and they cooled down fast. This looks like a restaurant quality. This is a very old pan. Looks around 2.0mm thick copper sidewalls Beautiful solid tight brass handles. Absolute beauty of a pan. Measures 12 inches across , not counting the width of the handles . Add another several inches for the handles as far as the width. 12 inches in height, weighs 19.5 pounds. States 1 P on the side of the stew pot. No large dents dings or scratches, general wear on the pan, but nothing significant actually in really good condition. Tin lining is in fair condition with small spots of tarnish.
