Description: This is an Estate Fresh Abstract Painting from a local Estate home. Its a COOL COLORFUL ABSTRACT PAINTING by CELEBRATED ALBUQUERQUE NM ARTIST GERALDINE ( GERRY ) MLYNEK. Signed and Dated 2009. Locally a very well publicized and shown artist and handled by one of the finest Galleries in Albuquerque and in Santa Fe. The contents of her home were liquidated and I was fortunate enough to get a very nice selection of her works. I will get them listed as I can. This Painting comes in very nice condition as described above. This piece is very colorful attractive painting, probably Acrylic done with good heavy Palette Knife work. The painting itself is 14"x9.75" wide and framed it is 17"x14"SOME INFORMATION GLEANED FROM THE INTERNET: In 2021 American Artwork Magazine / The American Art Collector featured a painting done by Mlynek in their annual Juried publication of American Abstract Artists. This was also done in their 2015 Issue as well as a few others. "American Art Collector presents a juried collection of original art and fine craft from across the United States.
