Description: This is a vintage divided back postcard, postally used, and postmarked 1909 from Warehouse Point, Connecticut. Warehouse Point is a discontinued post office (DPO). The postcard features a view of the Connecticut Mutual Life Insurance Building, located at the corner of Main and Pearl Streets in Hartford, Connecticut. The building was built in 1872. Connecticut Mutual Life Insurance moved out of the building in 1925. The building was demolished in 1964. Connecticut Mutual Life merged with Mass Mutual in 1995 and no longer exists. This card was sent from a post office which doesn't exist. The building pictured doesn't exist and the company housed in the building doesn't exist.
