Vintage Conn Connstelation Cornet 28a Excellent Player! 1957 Bag Mouthpiece

Description: Vintage Conn Connstelation Cornet 28a Excellent Player 1957 Bag Mouthpiece Unique Nickle over copper design makes Connstellations amazing horns. This one looks good and plays good. Playing - This horn plays well. Tuning slides and valves move well. It has good but not perfect compression evidenced by a good pop when the slides are pulled. Thumb trigger is correctly configured with stop nuts. Rarely is this the case when these are sold online. Serial Number - SN 649117. Made in 1957 when Conn was making some of the best horns ever and this a top of the line. Finish - Looks really good especially for it's age. Nickle Plating is 95%+ intact. Lacquer is 85+% intact although some of it is cloudy. There are a few minor dings and wear spots. However, you have to be close to see these flaws. There is also a spot missing in the nickle plating under the throat next to the valves which is hard to see. I tried to capture all this in photos. Serviced - Horn has been completely serviced including chemical cleaning, hand-washing, and ultrasonic clearning. Springs, felts and corks have been replaced as needed. Play tested to ensure playability. Case - Includes Protec Gig bag in good used conditon. This will protect the instrument. Mouthpiece - Includes a Bach 5C mouthpiece in good condition.
