On the other side, Conan's foes are none other than Shah Amurath, Lord of Akif, who is seen in Howard's short story, Shadows in the Moonlight. And, there's the mighty sorcerer, Kulan Gath, who has shown up in several Conan tales as well as Red Sonja and even non-Hyborian Age Marvel titles. This story starts on the steppes between Zamora and the Vilayet Sea near the Turanian city of Akif. Conan, at this time, is the chieftain of the Kozaki--the marauding bandit band of which Robert E.
