Plug it is, hang it over the side of your bath tub, choose your settings/jets & have calgon take you away! It includes the instruction manual and original box The only thing not included (last photo) is the practically useless "stipple" filter pad. I opened the filter portion and the filter basically disintegrated (as I said, I've had this for 20 years). That's it. All in working order. Any questions, just ask.
