Description: Custom Compact Odroid-XU4 NAS 2 3.5" WD Gold HDDs OMV Pre-Installed This is a custom built NAS in perfect working condition with some updating to "polish" it up. The system is based on an Odroid-XU4 SBC inside a very small mini-ITX case with two (2) full size 3.5" HDDs connected to the Odroid's USB 3.0 ports. It was designed to provide a good functioning NAS in as small of a package as possible. The size is only 9" x 7.7" x 2.5". It includes an internal USB hub for front USB port functionality, RTC battery, and PICO ATX PSU along with 2 WD Gold 1TB hard drives which are practically new. The fan on the Odroid-XU4 is brand new and OpenMediaVault 6 is pre-installed on the eMMC -- but, user can install any compatible OS desired. It comes packaged in the original box for the mini-ITX case with a 120W power brick. Feel free to contact me with any questions. Please allow for imperfections as all modifications/machining done by hand. Screen shot of OMV dashboard is actual system running OMV as installed. Only modification to basic install is a line in rc.local to prevent fan from stopping to preserve fan from harsh start/stop activity, instead just keeping fan at lowest speed until temps rise. This can be undone by removing the line in rc.local.User will need to configure OMV as they desire. Both disks are wiped with no partitions or formatting. User can format them and build LVM or other setup as they please in OMV.Credentials for installed OS (Strongly recommended that buyer change passwords on receipt): root password is armbian default of 1234. Should require change on first login via SSH or console, but, if not, change via CLI (ssh or console) with: passwd rootOMV webgui password is default of admin:openmediavault. Change in OMV webgui.A new OS can be installed or tried with a microSD card like normal Odroid-XU4 (accessible in rear), but user must open case and flip the switch on the Odroid-XU4 to boot from microSD and proceed accordingly.
