We generally recommend spraying over a black base for best results, however using silver does also give excellent results. We recommend using same colour base coat when using reds or oranges to get the best out of the colour. You can mix any of our Pearl Pigments into your resin or paint to achieve your desired effect. Our Pearl Pigment Powders are a great pigment for creating your very own colour in Epoxy Resin, Auto Paint, Plasti Dip, Powder-Coating, Nail Art, Acrylic Paint, Interior or Exterior Wall Paint and pretty much any other application you can think of! It is guaranteed to mix well with any clear epoxy or coloured/tinted candy paints, and has a temperature threshold of about 450 degrees Celsius. Our Pearl Pigment Powders are a very fine powder and will hold well in any clear epoxy or paint making it spray well through Professional Auto Paint Guns, Airbrushes, Powder Guns, Preval Sprayers and HVLP Paint Guns such as the Earlex range. It can also be mixed with gelling agents to produce high quality make up such as eye shadow and blushers.
