Description: Collection of Vintage Religious Medals, 9 items from 1 ¼ inch diameter to ½ inch diameter, most are white metal some are aluminum, one is a gold plated pin with blue stones, the ages of the medals go from 1930’s to 1980’s, one is a condensed Rosary with opalescent beads, one bead on the rosary has a small chip, some medals has discoloration, the Rosary has only 3 decades (original), at the end of the chain link is an aluminum medal with an angel and child on one side and a Virgin and Child on the other, there is a tiny makers mark on one side in a triangle with letters, the gold plated pin has a C clasp and no markings, there is a small center medallion of Mary surrounded by rays intersected with blue glass stones that are glued in rather than prongs, St. Christopher medal still on the original card tied with a ribbon, St. Christopher and a child on one side, “I am a Catholic…” on the other, no maker, small aluminum medal with pink enamel paint, 2 haloed figures (Joseph & Jesus?) on one side, an angel and a child on the other, no maker, small aluminum medal marked “Holy-Childhood-Association” and a child on one side, “Suffer little children…” and a scene on the other, small oval aluminum medal with “Saint Colette” on one side, “IHS” on the other, no maker, oval die cut medal with St. Anthony on one side, on the back embossed “St. Anthony Shrine, Graymoor, Garrison, N.Y., This medal is blessed by Fr. Anthony, S.A.”, round medal with deeply embossed image of Pope Pius XI on one side, “B. Maria di S. Eufrasia Pelletier” and praying Virgin on the other, rectangular medal with “Queen of the Peace, Medugorje 24-6-1981” and an image of the vision of Virgin Mary that took place on that date on one side, image of a church on the other, interesting group that were probably collected from various places and saved.
