Collection of 53 pieces of original mail art postcards + 21 printed postcard created by American artist, Leslie Michel, circa 1983~1996 and mailed to David Greenberger. Unique, one-of-a-kind, outsider art, mail art collection including 53 hand made postcards in various sizes with original artwork: acrylic paintings, drawings and collages. Michel was a prodigious creator of original mail art correspondence as well as an early adaptor to the use of color zerox in her artwork. She corresponded frequently with Greenberger who at the time was a part of the international mail art world. Greenberger has worn many hats including artist, postcard, music and 'zine publisher and most notably his Duplex Planet 'zine. All postcards have personal messages/greetings to Greenberger; more about him on the web. Scan says it best!! Various sizes, all hand made, hand painted on paper and cardboard + a few printed postcards all in very good condition: a few have the slightest wear, otherwise very clean; all postally used.
