Listing includes a Like New 1982 Colecovision Console, w/AV Mod to work with most* modern TV's. Cleaned inside and out, inspected, modded and thoroughly tested.Thoroughly cleaned and inspected the main pcb, including cartridge slot AV Composite Mod - Short Delay BIOS Mod - Power Switch MOD. Power Supply and 2 very nice - clean working Controllers. Original documentation including Console instructions.TV switch, which I added - although you wont need it. Front label is in excellent condition (10/10, see pic's) Top label is in very good condition, 2 very faint scratches (9/10, see pic's). This console has been tested with the steering Module #2 (not included). Also tested with expansion module #1 and both work as expected, including sound.Has NOT been tested with the "SGM" - although sound is provided via C88 w/10uf capacitor.Console video has bright vibrant colors, no artifacts, no glitches. Sound is crisp and clear.Expansion edge connector has No Wear and is in perfect condition.The board in this console is clean and in excellent condition with no signs of corrosion. Like New Console *While the RF works, there are no guarantee's on the *quality* of the signal and a cable for use is included.** Note: RF has a good signal when used with a good cable. Composite ModDramatically improves the picture quality and allows connections to more modern TV's.Modification was made using the LM318 IC circuit with a custom PCB (not perf board) and "NEW QUALITY" components. Also added 10uf capacitor for sound.Modded with 3 New Style RCA jacks for easy connection to the Colecovision, These jacks are more durable and less prone to breaking or coming loose. No need for the old noisy switch box and cable and better than an RF adapter.The AV Mod has been updated to include an onboard 10uf capacitor for sound.(Note: Do Not Twist Jacks when Installing or Removing Video Cables) Short Delay BIOS ModThe old BIOS was removed and replaced with a socket and a "Short Delay (about 3 seconds) BIOS" chip. New Power Switch The old switch was removed and replaced with a modern sealed slide switch. Makes the memory more reliable and more stable. New Capacitors and Transistors Replaced old capacitors/transistors with fresh stock. Memory This console still has the original memory installed. No memory mod was done to this console. The Power Switch mod greatly improves it's reliability. Be sure the power plug is firmly pushed in the back of the console. Users with an original power switch. If the switch is stiff and difficult to slide, try slightly loosening the case screw directly underneath.. ColecoVision's can be finicky, if when powered on you receive the message "turn off console before inserting cartridge", either hit the reset button or power it off and back on or remove and re-insert the cartridge. If that doesn't work, try carefully cleaning the cartridge contacts with alcohol using a q-tip.If you get a black screen, press reset or power off and back on, double check your connections and be sure you have selected the correct input source on your TV and/or consult it's manual. Please try all options before contacting me. The 3/4 channel selector on the console has no function with the AV mod.*Note: Concerning modern TV's... there is no guarantee the the A/V mod will be compatible with all TV's. While I have not had any issues, it's always a possibility, please try on multiple TV's or monitors. I will gladly do a return if it doesn't work with your TV or Monitor by some chance. You must pay the return shipping. Saying the console doesn't work for free return shipping is not an option. This console will not work without a power supply, trust me...it's tried :o) A tested and working Power Supply is included. Shipping is calculated by zip code, I make nothing from it.
