Description: This is a rare Monday, March 9th, 1936 programme (playbill) from the Provincial Tour engagement of the COLE PORTER and DWIGHT TAYLOR musical comedy "GAY DIVORCE" at the Empire Theatre in Chiswick in the London Borough of Ealing. (The Original Broadway production opened November 29th, 1932 at New York's Ethel Barrymore Theatre, moved to the Shubert Theatre on January 16th, 1933 and ran for 248 performances. The Original West End production opened November 2nd, 1933 at the Palace Theatre in London and ran for 180 performances.) .....
