Description: This is a slightly used and slightly damaged Coker American Classic 2.25 inch wide whitewall radial tire in size 650R13. This is the replacement tire that Coker sells for Amphicar, but could have other applications. With less than 50 miles running on this tire there was a problem with the tube and the tire went very low and was driven a short distance in that condition, causing a considerable scuffing to the area just adjacent to the 2.25" whitewall. This is a tubeless radial, but Amphicar wheels require a tube and that's where the problem was. This tire costs over $300 currently from Coker. I believe the tire is completely useable as a spare or road tire, especially with an application that uses a tube, and the tube for this tire is readily available and cheap. The damaged portion of the tire is part of the black portion of the sidewall and could easily be touched up to have a much more correct appearance.
