Description: Coke Can - "New Detachable Lift-Top". Standard 8 ounce can. @1980's. Empty...air sealed. The tab is still on it, but, no holes from draining the can. It went through the canning line with no soda added. Somebody at the canning facility was having some fun with this can. Even though the side of the can describes the "New Detachable Lift-Top" (what is now referred to as the Stay Tab)....this can has an old school pull tab top. If you look closely at the photos (particulary #1 and #4) you can see that top was not put on correctly - it is crooked, one side sticks up slightly. Personally, I feel somebody in canning pulled a can from the line and added the old top as a joke. Anyway, here it is....a very cool oddball can to add to your collection.
