Description: 1940’s Westinghouse Master Water Bath Cooler. This is a very rare and unique cooler, it started off being a Coke Cooler and at some point was changed over to Pepsi. The lids, sides and front have “Drink Coca-Cola” embossed into the cooler. There were 2 metal Pepsi signs covering the drink Coca Cola on the sides. The signs are two sided one being Pepsi and the other side NuGrape Soda. There was no sign for the front. The history behind this was somewhat of the norm, but rare to find a Coca-Cola cooler repaint in Pepsi blue. Once the store owners contract with Coke was up, the local Pepsi bottling company would offer to repaint the cooler and fill with their products. The original red Coke paint is showing through on the underside of the lids. This was made by Westinghouse and the model is “Master Cooler” dimensions 41 3/4 x 25 1/4 x 35 1/4. Based on the date code inside the chest W-UIS it was made July 1940. Everything is 100% original. I have not tried to plug it in as the cord is very old. This is complete. The inside has no holes and is in good condition. There is Coke bottle opener on the front made by Star. I do not know if this is original? The catch can is missing. Note this is the big cooler and is heavy. Local pickup only.
