Description: Guillaume leather/suede balmoral boot by Cobbler Union in museum calf and snuff suede with a combo leather/rubber outsole. Goodyear welted, made in Spain. Dressy style but very hardy, robust, and well made. Purchased in 2021 but worn 3 times at most (largely indoors), since Cobbler Union's Soho last is too narrow for my foot across the toe box. Cobbler Union recently upgraded their fit guidance on the website and now say that although the Soho last fits true to size, you should size up if you have "slightly wide" feet. I am on the wide end of standard (D) fitting and although the length and heel fit are perfect, they pinch in the toe too much for me to wear comfortably. If you are also on the wide end of standard width, I wouldn't recommend them, but if you wear narrow lasts without trouble (e.g., Carmina Simpson, J. Fitzpatrick NGT) these shouldn't be a problem. Apart from minimal creasing the boots are in pristine, near-new condition. I don't have the original box but will include shoe trees (if desired). Please note that these are NOT the currently available model, which is built on CU's new 358 last.
